ArtPiece.org

ArtPiece.org evolved from having loved ones killed by guns and a lack of understanding of the gun violence narratives in the United States. ArtPiece.org isn’t here to say what the responses to gun violence should be, just here to show what it is using art, media, data and experience.

West Central Community Development Group

The purpose of WCCDG is to actively promote and affect the redevelopment and revitalization of the West Central Metropolitan Redevelopment Area.

WCCDG is dedicated to job growth and improved economic vitality of the neighborhoods and individual families along the West central corridor. By strengthening the economic prosperity of families and neighborhoods this supports the transformation of an area of Albuquerque that is traditionally suffered from higher rates of unemployment as compared to other areas of the city. As we struggled to address the growing traffic and transportation needs an additional benefit to this effort is that fewer Westside residents will need to commute across the River to get to their jobs. Finally, a cornerstone of economic development and community revitalization is reducing crime rates, which is part of any successful community development effort.
